At the corner of 23rd and Jackson, one of the Central Area's most historical intersections, laser-cut steel panels wrap the exterior of a community retail pavilion with a radiant vision. Designed in close collaboration with Vulcan Real Estate and the pavilion's architects, the work features a mother and child, arms raised, reaching for life as sunlight radiates outward in every direction. The steel's negative space lets the warm wood substrate breathe through, and as natural light shifts throughout the day, the composition comes alive.
