NHL jersey design, apparel and ephemera collection
Seattle Kraken · Climate Pledge Arena · 2022–23 Season

For the Seattle Kraken's Black Hockey History Night, I reimagined the team's identity through the lens of my Solar philosophy. The centerpiece is a redesigned chest logo: the Kraken's signature "S" rises as a golden sun radiates outward from Tahoma. The shoulder patches carry an ankh-anchored crest, grounding the design in cultural symbolism that reaches well beyond the ice.

The design was worn by Kraken players during live NHL competition at Climate Pledge Arena and extended across a full collection of apparel and ephemera developed in collaboration with the team. It is the rare commission that entered one of the most widely broadcast arenas in professional sports — seen by tens of thousands in the building and millions more on screen.
